We want you to love TalkIsCheap. If you're not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase.
How to request a refund
Send an email to benedikt.rapp@me.com with:
- Your order email (the one you used at checkout)
- Your license key (starts with
TIC-) - A brief reason (optional but helpful for improving the product)
We process refunds within 3 business days. Funds typically appear on your statement 5-10 days after processing, depending on your bank.
What happens to your license
Upon refund, your license is revoked and the Software will stop functioning on your devices. Any remaining uses are forfeited. You may re-purchase a license at any time.
Subscription refunds
Monthly plan
Monthly subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of the first charge. For subsequent months, you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, but the current month is non-refundable unless the Software is fundamentally broken.
Annual plan
Annual subscriptions are refundable within 30 days on a pro-rata basis. After 30 days, you can cancel future renewals but the current annual period is non-refundable.
Exceptions
We may decline a refund if:
- More than 30 days have passed since purchase (lifetime)
- More than 14 days have passed since first subscription charge (monthly)
- Signs of abuse: quota exhausted, multiple device activations & deactivations, bulk purchases
- Charges disputed directly with your bank (chargeback) instead of contacting us first
Your statutory rights
As an EU consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (EU Directive 2011/83/EU) for digital purchases, unless you expressly waive it by beginning to use the Software. This refund policy goes beyond that minimum.
